What could be so bad that it sends Rafter running off to his room? | ![]() CHAPTER 2 Benny and Rafter aren’t proud of their powers, but as Grandpa reminds them “Having a super power doesn’t make you a superhero. THAT you have to earn.” Now they’re wondering about Juanita Johnson’s power - what could she have gotten? | ![]() CHAPTER 3 Benny seems to embrace his power. Rafter decides that something interfered with him getting his true power and there’s still hope. We’ll see…. |

Or a dud like the Bailey boys did? | ![]() CHAPTER 5 First battle: three brothers stayed home and watched on video camera. They saw what Juanita got and realize she’s a super super-villain. How can they even stand up to her now? Rafter is planning an attack at school. | ![]() Ch 6 The Bailey boys form a plan for school. Rafter gets a new history teacher… Mr. Johnson! |
![]() Ch 7 The encounter in the library! Which is the villain family? Who started trouble? Who’s attacking who? Who looks guilty? | ![]() Ch 8 The kids argue over who are the supervillains and who are the superheroes. And we learn the truth about Juanita! | ![]() Ch 9 Rafter goes on patrol with Dad and learns (through actions and words) that his family are the REAL Superheroes. How could it be any other way? |
![]() Ch 10 Mr. Johnson wants to embarrass Rafter. .. and it works. But what is Juanita up to? She’s acting oddly, even for her! | ![]() Ch 11 Today there is an incident at the supermarket… was it an attack or an accident? Rafter still is curious about Juanita. | ![]() Ch 12 The Boys are in an unimaginable place - the Johnson’s Headquarters. Read carefully and imagine this place as it is described. Try to visualize it. Does it seem like a villain’s place? |
![]() Ch 13 Juanita shows the boys some family secrets in the headquarters. Rafter finds some interesting emails and has him furthering his questions about who is the hero and who is the villain. | ![]() Ch 14 The boys go home for a “surprise” but they don’t like it when Dad and Mom tell them about their new roles in the family. | ![]() CH 15 The boys have their first day of training with cousin Dirk. It’s not exactly what they were hoping for! |
![]() Ch 16 Rafter gets Rodney to help with his questions about the Johnsons. As the Baileys have dinner they get an alert then a flash of light. What is this all about??? | ![]() Ch 17 It seems the Baileys have new powers and everyone is going to investigate…. Everyone except Rafter and Benny. | ![]() Ch 18 Rafter, Benny, and Juanita get together to try to help their families out of this situation. They decide to work together and take action “All people are in danger.” |
![]() Ch 19 These kids are pretty brave and definitely snooping around where they don’t belong. They start putting the pieces together and realize a real villain is after BOTH of their families! | ![]() Ch 20 The kids are really in for it now! | ![]() Ch 21 Charles Jones has some power over the 3 kids and Rafter really has to think fast to find a way to help them escape. So “WHAT does this button do?” |
![]() Ch 22 The kids get their “real” powers and learn the power of Charles’s phone device. Rafter puts his thoughts to work fast. | ![]() Ch 23 The kids face the ultimate supervillain October Jones - and you won’t believe what he is really like (This part reminded me of the ending of the Wizard of Oz). | ![]() Ch 24 Rafter is in trouble with October Jones… a super super! As they say, “He’s out of his league”. Do you think he is? |
![]() Ch 25 Rafter realizes his power alone is not enough. He needs to do something WITH it to save the families. | ![]() Ch 26 Rafter uses his brain (not his strength) to solve the problem. | ![]() Ch 27 Rafter has lost his powers but for the first time finally feels “almost super” |
![]() Ch 28 The kids have all of the family members there. NOW WHAT??? | ![]() Ch 29 ”You boys have taught me that you don’t need powers to be super” - Mr. Bailey Nobody is sure about the future of the family, but they DO know that they’ll work together with Johnsons AGAINST the Jones family. |
